Walking

If life is understood as a plane, we walk through it, making, or rather more correctly, discovering our share of this world, with all of it's composition. The walk through this alive plane is also in itself a training for the same. The more one has walked, more they have discovered and better they are at it.

Experiences at individual level are what constitute the same for the whole as well. Not only do they supply us with the knowledge on doing better but also with humor to get better of the indifference that keeps pushing in from all directions, and also at times with things quite humbling and overwhelming to keep us grounded. The walk, with every mile stone passed is also deposited as lessons to fall back upon and help muse out the problems waiting ahead.

This couldn't have been written at any other time of the year as this new year has just walked in and the last year left just less then even a couple of days back. It's an intersection of a unit of time, a year, which is big enough a bar to decisively impact life. A year if lived throughout in action is actually a ledger in its own right of numerous conscious STOPS and RESTARTS. In reflection it gives a feeling of having given up life many times and again have resolved to start up all again, and all this in just a single block of this unit of time. A year it turns out is much more than a quantifiable unit of time. It is an episode which stands out from others, for every year can't be equally dynamic. Some are more lively than others. Life can't put everything to one person only, the world is catering billions.

It is for this reason living to full is so important. A moment missed, given up or let get go off won't come back again. And who knows that moment had more life than any other to come. Once we get to know of this mistake of not living a moment to the full, which when looked back upon seems like to have contained the soul of what we want life to be like now, remorse takes over us by sway. And there is only one way to keep this from becoming inevitable, and that is living each moment to it's full as if it was the last and after it life was to cease to be. The world to end.

Destiny as I understand it isn't penned by some benevolent deity, which ironically then is also supposed to punish us for deeds, which he himself wrote in our account, in the first place. Destiny to me is simply the consequence of the deeds of people complexly related in some capacity. Interest, Business, Friendship, Love or any other such phenomenon that has people in loop. And this result is penned at some distance from now, and is for this reason apparently 'determined', something already written. As Paulo Coelho in his famous work The Alchemist repeatedly says of things as 'Maktub', in this context this Arabic expression makes complete sense to me. With only one difference, that the written or 'Maktub' is foreseeable and what gives it the illusion of destiny is nothing but the lack of sight to read the possible consequences of our actions. If things kept in check, the future or the written as most of us would call it can very well be carefully tailored, but yes there is one truth that makes the future concrete. It's the non erasable nature of it. For actions once done can't be just undone. The moment  it's done, the result is calculated and written as the inevitable.

This is the reason I say this couldn't have been written better at any other point of time, at least in this year. If you want to be responsible enough to retain the right to havea check on anything unwanted from getting written, become more responsible in action and also watch out others in loop with you, because it's quite possible that some action or even inaction of yours might propel a reaction that lets the unwanted a safe passage to the inevitable.

Actions and In-actions, count alike and the sum shows up as something that could have been well monitored if the bridle was taken good care of.

Live Good, Live Responsible.
Happy New Year!
