Jaagran;Worshipping or Lavish drama?

One is quite well introduced to 'JAAGRANS', growing up in Northern India. Before jumping on to its criticism, we should first simply understand the term 'Jaagran' , it means to give up sleep and to remain awake to pray, and mostly attributed to 'Godess Sheranwali'.
The concept of this practice is to sacrifice comfort of sleep, and worship, and its done mostly by singing hymns praising godess Sheranwali and many other incarnations of the forementioned diety. More traditionally brought into practisce in North india but nowadays, its being carried down to the south as well. But, as it might have been a custom/tradition/practisce started with postives as all other traditions are, isn't any exception of losing both its true values and relevence.
As nowadays the earlier sung hymns have been replaced by HI-Fi Djs and music systems, Preached stories taken form of professional plays, simpler way of presenting transformed into lavish manners, which in everyway seems just to be a convinience of the rich and no links to poors. If one was to be true, Not even in a single appearance seems to be worshipping place to a poor, whether it's the Decorations,Djs,expensive Music systems,Paid artists. Besides this, the ways these are being organised nowadays has no connection to godliness and spirituality, contrary to this, it has just become a way to show off lavishness and riches. So, making it clear not to be a mode of worship for all, but only for few except poor people.
As the name goes these are organised during nights and lasts from the very start of night to dawn. So, the hymns played out of high Music systems maintain their loudness in the neighbourhood, these are being organised in, throughout the night, making sleep uncomfortable for all those people who happen to live in that locality, here a point, which is worth noting, is the fact, that most of employed people have to work hard throughout the day and only get nights to take rest, and if they couldn't sleep well at night, How were they going to perform well at their respective works?, and not even employed people even students and house wives face problems due to lack of sleep due to High volume Jaagrans. I wonder, how one's prayer can have such ill effects over others? Unless it's prayer, just for name sake not in sense, and no one wise enough will bother others so much, just in name of worshipping. Just at a mere base of logic this practisce fails to be classified as a worship mode instead an uncivilised blind faithed practisce. Which diety calls upon its worshippers to put on high volume djs in the name of prayer and bother other people's comfort and convinience? or perhaps that Diety doesn't care about those who doesn't worship it. Those plays contrary to the principles, they were started over, have now been transformed into cheap and wrong presented items, degrading the spiritual content and even apparently mocking spiritual characters through their dramatic respresntations. It would be better to say that people, who attend these jagrans just appreciate the hyms and performances over their talent of singing and acting, again the spiritual content is absent, which indeed falsifises its claim of being a religious congregation, as witnessed first hand. So, if its just about singing, acting and dancing, Why not call it a cultural funtion?instead of putting it beneath the blanket of religion.
Even apart from this most of people in many localities, attending are reported to have been drunk and intoxicated and sometimes not even audience but those who perform the pious rituals, say singers and even witnessed at first place. Isn't this of big concern that how such activities are being openly done under the pious cover of prayer?. Is that the level our prayers have been reduced to?. Expensive decorations and arrangements,Which can be just afforded by those who are financially sound, What if one fails to afford all this?, if this was the true way to worship, then it means all those poor people who can't afford it, will not be answered to their prayers, they can't worship. Ain't these things blatant frauds? Don't they appear to be a mere drama?
How can God discriminate between his faithful,on the basis of their capacity to spend money in his name? and if he does so, How can he be called God?.Is this what prayer means to us?,Is this our concept of God?,Is this even worship? Many more such questions stand unanswered but it's more important to ask these questions ,because then only we will look for right answers and hopefully outrightly condemn such bigotry in the name of religion.
For how long can we keep justifying something that is unjustified. We need to think openly over this practise and many more such useless practices. As,now we have the required weapon of knowledge to counter such practices and beliefs,So we must counter it for better. These useless and reasonless Practices must be brought to an End.
